Specializing in Korean classics alongside popular Chinese-inspired dishes, Yoo's Place offers a rich culinary journey for enthusiasts seeking bold, satisfying tastes.
The menu is a delightful showcase of traditional favorites and crowd-pleasers. Not to be missed is their Beef Kalbi & Chic Naengmyun, where tender, marinated short ribs meet refreshingly cold noodles in a perfect harmony of smoky and spicy flavors. Another standout is the Jokbal—a large portion of savory, braised pig’s feet that melt in your mouth, paired exceptionally well with their signature spicy cold noodles. For those craving something with a crunchy twist, the Tang Soo Yook (Korean-style sweet and sour pork) offers the perfect balance of tangy glaze and crispy batter.
Yoo's Place also impresses with its diverse naengmyun combo selections, such as the Pork Bulgogi & Chic Naengmyun or the Nokdu Bindaetteok & Chic Naengmyun, which pair refreshing cold noodles with flavorful meat or crispy mung bean pancakes. These dishes serve as an ideal introduction to Korean cuisine for newcomers and a beloved staple for regulars.
The dining environment itself is inviting and well-kept, with a clean, casual vibe perfect for family dinners or relaxed meals with friends. Reviewers consistently note the attentive, if sometimes modest, service and highlight the steady flow of complimentary banchan (side dishes), including 김치 (kimchi), 묵은지 고등어 (aged kimchi mackerel), and kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) that add depth and variety to every meal.
Regular visitors praise the restaurant's ability to deliver generous portions of food cooked with care and authenticity. A customer named Josh shared their satisfaction with dishes like bulgogi and yukgaejang, commenting on the warmth and freshness of the servings. Other guests, like Sophia, admire the excellent quality balanced with great prices, especially recommending the kimchi and cold noodles. Even amid some critiques—such as occasional inconsistencies with calamari or service—many return for the unmistakable flavors and welcoming atmosphere.
Yoo's Place stands out not just for its taste but also for its genuine, homestyle Korean cooking spirit, earning applause from locals and first-timers alike. Whether you’re settling in for a bowl of spicy jjamppong or indulging in the hearty comfort of sundae guk, this restaurant offers an authentic, flavor-packed experience that's both satisfying and accessible.
For those in Buena Park craving a flavorful escape to Korea and beyond, Yoo's Place is a dependable destination where authentic recipes meet heartwarming hospitality.
Great spot for spicy cold noodles and black bean noodles
They have better cold noodles than most, and the place is very clean. The side dishes are pretty good too. We had brown noodles and fried calamari. Noodles were bland and had hardly any meat. Calamari used to be better, but this time, it was over cooked and the meat was dry and tough. The water cold noodles and the spicy cold noodles were good as usual. The service is always mediocre at best.
Very delicious food for great prices! Good service and clean environment, really recommend trying them out. (kimchi and cold noodles were especially excellent)
Food was very good we ordered the bulgogi, yukgaejang, and yukegaejang mandu. Each dish was delicious and came out hot, we even got an order of jajang myun on the house! Service was very good and they refilled the banchan’s the moment we finished them. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, definitely will revisit when back in Buena Park!
가격대비 몇가지메뉴는 끝판왕!!! 친절하고 가격저렴하고 맛있고. 조미료냄새난다고누가 얘기하시던데… 집에서드세여 Yesterday I went to Wife and today I had a company dinner here. It wasn't fancy or expensive food, but it was delicious and we all ate until we were full. I praise the owner who gives the best sensible staff and food tasting service without hesitation. Korean snack bar style restaurant seen on TV. There are many types of food and the prices are cheaper than other restaurants. The food all tastes better than the basics. The inside of the restaurant is small and confusing, but the service was fast so I was impressed. This is Korean food that young people will enjoy. A restaurant where all the food is delicious, especially Chinese food, and it is more delicious and cheaper than a specialty restaurant. A restaurant where the food tastes even better because of the friendly and cheerful staff. The interior is narrow and a little uncomfortable, but the taste and service are top notch. I always intend to visit again
A staple place for Korean cold noodles! The broth flavor is consistent, flavorful and clean. You can also get up to fill your own cups of hot tea or hot broth near the back. We also got the hot stone bibimbap which was solid and had a variety of mountain veggies (fiddlehead fern, gobo). It's a tiny shop and always packed, so they fit you in wherever they can, which might be right by the door. The servers are nice and efficient. I like the acorn jelly side dish the most.
